The average house price in the UK rose to £268,319 in February, a 📈 5.4% year-on-year increase, the highest rate since December 2022.
🏡 Terraced homes led the way with 6.2% growth year-on-year, reaching an average price of £225,486.🏠 Semi-detached homes followed closely behind with 6.1% annual growth.
On the other end of the scale, 🏢 flats saw the most muted growth — but still in solid positive territory — at 3.0%.
💷 Lower borrowing costs compared to last year and a growing interest in 🌳 outdoor space, 🅿️ parking, and 🔌 EV charging have boosted demand for larger homes.
