The average house price in the UK rose to Β£268,319 in February, a π 5.4% year-on-year increase, the highest rate since December 2022.
π‘ Terraced homes led the way with 6.2% growth year-on-year, reaching an average price of Β£225,486.π Semi-detached homes followed closely behind with 6.1% annual growth.
On the other end of the scale, π’ flats saw the most muted growth β but still in solid positive territory β at 3.0%.
π· Lower borrowing costs compared to last year and a growing interest in π³ outdoor space, π ΏοΈ parking, and π EV charging have boosted demand for larger homes.
